We are filled with what others tell us about how to be, what to do. On top of that, we pile our own conclusions and judgements from our experiences. Having a busy life, fulfilling others' needs, working, playing and then attempting to integrate everything can feel overwhelming.

How can we find the simple essence of a meaningful existence within this complex process of our life experiences and involvements? To what do we cling when times feel hard or the going gets tough?

We will explore flower essences that support simplicity in many aspects of life and how spontaneity can help us rest confidently into a simple stance of being.

The Facilitator

Cynthia Athina Kemp Scherer is an experienced flower essence practitioner, researcher, and the founder of Desert Alchemy flower essences. In 1983 Cynthia was guided by nature to begin making and researching flower essence from the unique desert environment.

She is an international workshop facilitator and the author of "The Alchemy of the Desert - Second Edition", "The Art & Technique of Using Flower Essences", "The Core Issue", a web-based series of articles that explore using flower essences for specific healing issues, and the Desert Alchemy web site at www.desert-alchemy.com.

Cynthia practices flower essence therapy in Tucson in person and by telephone. Flower essences that are most beneficial for her client's current needs are selected using sensitive attunement. She also uses astrology and prayer work when requested.

Since 1986, one of Cynthia's loves is facilitating workshops, which are limited to small groups to provide an intimate experience.

Certification Program Credits

This workshop earns 0.5 credits towards the optional Desert Alchemy Flower Essence Practitioner Certification.

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations received on or before February 29, 2012, will receive a refund, minus $35 cancellation fee. After February 29th, the tuition fee is no longer refundable.
