This course presents the opportunity to not only develop the skills for working with yourself and others with flower essences, but to experience the healing power of the desert in a safe and protected environment. It provides the chance to retreat inward and discover yourself.

The Flower Essence Therapy Course provides a solid foundation for using flower essences while presenting an opportunity to contemplate and discover your inner gifts, talents, and challenges.

You will:

• develop skills for selecting and using flower essences with yourself and others
• meet desert plants intimately
• experience the healing power of the desert's nature
• create a foundation for clearly knowing yourself
• explore what it means to compassionatly support others without losing yourself
• soulfully nurture yourself in an eight-day retreat from usual life

This intensive course is for:

• Anyone who wants to incorporate flower essences into his or her life as a means of achieving wellness and self-knowledge with the support of nature
• Health Care professionals who wish to incorporate flower essences into their practice

Facilitator

Cynthia Athina Kemp Scherer is an experienced flower essence practitioner, researcher, and founder of Desert Alchemy. In 1983, Cynthia was inspired by nature to begin co-creating and researching flower essences from the unique and powerful environment of the Arizona deserts. Her relationship to nature fostered deep healing experiences that provided the foundation for her years of research.

Since 1986, one of Cynthia's great loves has been sharing in workshops about her experiences in using flower essences and her ever-deepening relationship with nature.

Part One & Two: $1800
(or $1530 if paid in full before February 29, 2012)

Part One only: $1200
(or $1020 if paid in full before February 29, 2012)

Part Two only: $800
(or $680 if paid in full before February 29, 2012)

Fee includes the course tuition only. Participants are responsible for their hotel accomodations, transportation, and meals.

This course is limited to a small group so early registration is recommended. To hold your space, a deposit of a deposit of $300 is required for one part, or $400 for both parts.

Accomodation

Out-of-town registrants are responsible for booking their own accommodations. We recommend The Windmill Suites at St. Philips Plaza, an all suite hotel, which is located two miles from the workshop venue. Each suite has a bedroom with two queen beds and a living room with a couch that folds out into a queen bed. Both rooms have separate access to a shared bathroom. A small kitchenette completes the suite.

Located on a river park, the hotel has easy access to miles of popular walking paths and provides loaner bicycles if you wish. A number of excellent restaurants are located within easy walking distance.

If you would like to share a room with another participant, let us know and we will connect you with other participants who have indicated that they want to share.

Refund Policy

Registration cancellations received on or before March 30, 2012 will receive a refund, minus a cancellation fee of $100. After March 30th, the tuition fee is no longer refundable.

You may want to consider purchasing travel protection insurance to reimburse you in case of emergencies that may force you to cancel or interrupt your trip.

Certification Program

Upon completion of the Flower Essence Therapy Course (part 1 & part 2) participants will qualify for the optional Desert Alchemy® Practitioner's Certification Program, which includes further work documenting the use of desert flower essences over a period of six months.
